We Are All One! The Enlightened Portal to the Enchanted Beyond | Original Watercolor Painting

• The Story behind the Art: This Original Watercolor Painting was created over the course of a year as I stepped into my psychedelic artistic vision of the beauty of our world and the other outer realms of the unknown universe that surround us. I started this watercolor painting in 2002 and finished in 2003. It was meticulously painted with concepts from various experiences. I had to go shopping for the smallest paint brushes available to finish the forests in the base of the painting. The Mountains and lake are inspired from a photo I took at Moraine Lake in Banff Canada in my youth where I fed a squirrel from the palm of my hand at the top of the mountain hike there. The waterfall pouring from another world was inspired from the first artwork I ever purchased that was live spray-paint by Rob and Jay Seagrave in Victoria Canada on Vancouver Island. The Nome / Hobbit is inspired from my love for literature when I first read a book that wasn't boring: The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien and the Lord of the Rings series. Also David the Nome. The intertwining mushrooms and vines are inspired from my research into Terence McKenna and the beauty of the mycelium network and the fruiting bodies that are natures perfect uplifting creation.
